As a product, starting batteries are widely used in our lives. At present, the starting batteries on the market can be divided into two types: 

* lead-acid batteries

* LiFeYPO4(Lithium Iron Yttrium Phosphate-LFP) batteries. 

As LiFePO4 batteries are used more and more widely, traditional lead-acid batteries have been gradually replaced by new-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries. So what are the advantages of LiFeYPo4 starter batteries over lead-acid?

The car can be re-started more times because the voltage remains consistent throughout the discharge, whereas lead-acid drops rapidly.

Fast charging and capable of high charge/discharge currents.

It improved the low-temperature resistance in LFP batteries; the rare element yttrium is added to the cathode material to improve the cycle life and lower the minimum temperature the batteries can be charged or discharged from 0.6°C for LFP to -30°C for LiPeYPO4.

The self-discharge rate is low, so it can still provide enough starting power even if it is left for several months.

Long service life. Compared with the cycle life of lead-acid batteries of about 200 cycles, LiFeYPO4 starter batteries can reach more than 2000 cycles.

Small in size and light in weight, the volume and weight of LiFeYPO4 batteries with the same specification and capacity are only 1/3 of that of lead-acid batteries.

Green and environmentally friendly, the material does not contain heavy metals and rare metals, and there is no pollution during production and use.
